Will be interesting to see how Robins does this season with his coaching staff around him instead of the non league set up we had after Lawrence and Viveash left

What was his budget for putting it together? Why didn't he take any of them to Stoke?

John Walters is the Sporting Director and his boss. He appointed Robins.

Robins brought in at least 2 people of his own from the start.

Loved him in league 1 but never really looked at home in the championship. Surprised he’s had to drop down to league 2.

Surprised at Doyle joining Wrexham, he’s probably been blinded by the plastic Disney-funded, faux-underdog shite.

They’ve got a weird mix of players to be relegated with, now.

I think with the deal, Doyle's incentive could be, play well for Wrexham for a couple of years, turn Man City's head and they buy him back at a bargain price. It's like a glorified loan.

The players I thought would do best from L1 to the Championship were Rose, Dabo and O'Hare. How sad that all three have had their careers halted by injury. Rose and Dabo really lost it to injury, O'Hare never quite the same after his injuries.

When Vik is truly up to speed, he’ll be knocking them in for fun. It’s quite amusing how Man Utd fans were writing him off after one goalless game.

Aye and Baily Cargill of similar vintage playing for Mansfield against Everton .
And Christy Pym in goal for Grimsby was the goalkeeper for Exeter when we beat them in the L2 Playoff final. Already seems a lifetime ago.

Joe Murphy played for Tranmere at the age of 44 on Satdee!

Wasted talent Jordy Hiwula (who seems to have played for ages but is only 30) scored for Boston Utd.

Coventrian James Collins scored his 200th and 201st EFL goal to join Sharpe and Rhodes in the 200 club.

44, blimey, not much younger than Lampard.

(….has fleeting thought about if Lampard could do 20 mins off the bench since we haven’t replaced Sheaf…)

(Note *satire)

I have noticed Lamps is looking a lot leaner and fitter than when he arrived.

What looks like poor physical fitness was one thing that bugged me about Mark Robins, he is very much out of shape wouldn't you say.

Hiwula looked half decent for us and was fairly young at the time but then just became useless almost overnight. I'm assuming as someone who was once highly rated at Man city (?) I think, he probably fell out of love with the game.
