If we had gone up then Henderson would have been an ideal signing to make. An international with bags of experience and a champions league and premier league winning captain. Players like Allen, Eccles probably couldn’t have made the jump to the Prem and I reckon Henderson’s experience and leadership could have done us well if we would have gone up.
Having someone like that around younger players and in your changing room would help them develop no end.
