Former loan star David Mcgoldrick scored for Ipswich in a 2-0 win over Bolton

Roman Vincelot scored his second goal of the week to secure 3pts for Bradford

Leon Barnett scored for Northampton

Shaun Miller scored a spectacular goal for Carlisle

Former loan flop Andre Wright scored in the fa cup for Kidderminster Harriers

I still think that if we had managed to keep David Mcgoldrick that year, we would have got promotion even with the 10 point deduction and without Robins, he was unplayable in this league.Would have easily got over 30 goals and if we had signed Leon Clarke as well as keeping him. What a season ti could have been.

Would we of gone in for Leon if MR thought he could sign Mcgoldrick and he was staying the season tho?

That's what I meant if we had kept Mcgoldrick and signed Clarke. But even so with just Mcgoldrick think we would have been promoted, as he was just so far ahead of any player in that league.

Blood and thunder stuff. Some good goal-keeping in that game.
Non-league football can be very entertaining.

Not that I know of, although you may be right. If he were fit, would you re-sign him?

Any idea what's been the matter with him?

Always thought he was OK, he'd be fine for us at this level if he was fit and could play at the standard he was at previously. Certainly an OK squad player.

Came on in the 89th minute Saturday.
