I'm too young to remember him playing for us but I remember watching him on Star Soccer (Central ITV's Sunday highlights show?) scoring twice for Newcastle when they beat us 4-2. I'm sure he was in the Newcastle 1974 Cup final team but like the rest of the team that day he didn't do anything memorable.I think like a lot of footballers, he has been suffering with dementia. A really good player who we were mad to let go. Had a great career at Sheff. Utd but particularly at Newcastle playing along side Super Mac.

since leaving us two years a go and moving to Lincoln he has only played six games in two seasons having been plagued by injuries.
He is now injured again and not expected to return this season with Lincoln looking to not renew his contract
