If someone is willing to offer 30 after one season they'll be willing to offer even more after two. Not as crazy as it sounds

TBF he's not dreadful, as a squad player available on the cheap he's not a bad option for some sides.

What I love about van Ewijk is that he seems to love to be here, a bit like Hamer. For him to move to a different country and you can see such a big smile on his face is so refreshing. Early on Robins said what he needs to improve on and he’s completely right, if he can master that we have some player on our hands and will easily be a £10m+ player

I honestly think O’Hare has such a positive influence around the dressing room, his character and personality I’m sure brings happiness around the camp. Fingers crossed we can get him signed up. You could see how O’Hare was pushing Van Ewijk to celebrate with the fans at the end of the Boro match.

Jay McGrath has joined Doncaster from St. Pat’s in the League of Ireland on a 2.5 year deal

Good example of a young player getting proper gametime in men’s football and using that as a springboard – albeit Doncaster are on a downward spiral currently

Just had a quick look how Tyler Walker is getting on at Lincoln.
Looks like his season was already over by December...

Tyler Walker: Lincoln City boss Michael Skubala fears striker may miss rest of season

Lincoln City striker Tyler Walker may miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery, says Imps boss Michael Skubala.

Feel sorry for him, always thought there was a decent player in there

Good for him, wasn't looking good for him to be essentially at the same level he was when he got the injuries is a big win.

Napoli offering Ostigard to Genoa as part of some deal for another player. Whole deal including Ostigard is about £20m I think.

What a shit show. 5 goals and not scoring, just knocked £10m off his top line.

Obviously never would have happened but add Vik and Gus to this team and we’d have been unstoppable.

That Premier League arrogance alluded to in the post will be quite costly for the teams wanting him now who weren't bothered 6 months ago.

Corey Addai saved a penalty for Crawley...then pushed the ball into his own goal.

But he was playing for Napoli at a high level. He's clearly good.

I'll probably get slated for this but honestly think Van Ewijk looks twice the player Maatsen was when he was here. Ridiculous fee for him.
To be fair, Maatsen was 19 and had played only 35 first team games in league one when he joined us. MVE was 3.5 years older with 160 first team games, including over 100 in Dutch Top Flight under his belt when we signed him.
