From the limited time we saw him (came on in the Rangers friendly I think?) he looked like he had some good technical ability. I’m guessing the recruitment team saw something in his stats but he didn’t have the athleticism for this level.What a strange signing he was for us

4 goals in 43 league games for us. He should have had 20 that season. He was like a precursor to O’Hare in many ways, ridiculous work rate for a forward, exciting on the ball, fast. But he missed so many chances that by the end I wouldn’t even get excited when the ball came to him, was just resigned to him missing, and I think that was the frustration for me.
