What a pair of pricks. So what if Suarez don't want to shake hands. Evra's a knob anyway and I reckon the press is making to much of it. If he don't want to shake his hand ( it's a free world and all that) then so be it.

Fortunately you are in the minority with this view. Minority of 3 I would guess. You, the racist and his manager who I used to respect immensely and now seems to want to end his career in mockery with his constant misguided backing of the stupid Suarez.

The onus is on Suarez to behave with dignity from the start. Clearly a word missing from his vocabulary.

Players can dislike or even hate one another, doesn't mean you can't shake hands before and after a game.

Obviously the 8 game ban hasn't taught Suarez anything.

There is no place for racism in football. He was acting like a big girl because he got punished. IMO the ban was too lenient and showing further disrespect only highlights further what a c-unit Suarez is.

Anyone supporting Suarez after he was found guilty of making the racist comment (and he admitted it) is by definition also racist and should be treated in such a fashion (i.e. Dalglish, Liverpool players & fans).

Not suggesting all Liverpool fans are racist though. I know many who have condemned his actions.

Evra is a prick but thats irrelevant here. Suarez was in the wrong today but Daglish to me is being a prick - the handshake aside - Suarez has let the whole thing drop, its Kenny who won't shut up about it... Not to mention media and fans (of which I'm one)

Evra is a hypocritical wanker who played the race card to get a rival team player band, for once I'm actually backing Liverpool.

I hardly ever agree with anything Ferguson ever says, but totally agree with what he said yesterday. Suarez was a disgrace.

Evra was prepared to put it all behind them and shake hands and move on. Suarez should have done the same. By Suarez not shaking hands it just makes him look all the more a racist.

The point everyone including the media (conveniently) are overlooking is that Ferdinand refused Suarez's handshake in a far more blatent manner. As captain of his side he is an absolute disgrace.
Two wrongs do not make a right. And Ferdinand should be facing the same, if not MORE media hounding than Suarez.

No one seem to mention Ferdinand refusing to shake Suarez hand.I'm certainly not racist but I'm of the view it's up to Suarez if he wants to shake hands with someone.

But surely Ferdinand only refused to shake hands after Suarez ignored Evra's offer of a handshake?

Maybe the case I agree, but the issue is between evra and suarez, nothing at all to so with ferdinand.
As captain of his club he is a joke. Total disgrace. But will get away without any bad press at all.

Why should he shake his hand? Should Bridge have shook Terrys hand after he nobbed his missus? If I don't like someone I wouldn't shake their hand, no agenda or otherwise, it shouldn't cause a fuss but due to the massive media interest and goading it has caused an unnecessary furore and too many people have become embroiled in it.

But the simple fact is that they should have shaken hands and put this whole saga behind them. All it's done now is bring it back to the fore.

If they didn't want to shake hands then both clubs before the game should have agreed that there would be no handshakes.

    Simple really.

I agree it shouldn't have taken place, if the fa push for these handshakes why can't they do it outside the view of cameras to avoid these ridiculous incidents?!

Why should he shake hands with some guy who stitched him up to miss 8 games over name calling.

Calling me a racist is a bit harsh, I have got a coloured nephew and niece. All I was trying to say ( after a bottle of red) was Evra is a horrible little man anyway and there is always two sides to a story. Yes in hindsight he should of done the honourable thing but who knows what's gone on.

The whole thing has been blown out of proportion. It should be an individuals choice whether to shake the hand of another person; it shouldn't be forced upon anyone.

What about Evra's reaction to the rejection? If he wanted to put an end to the whole thing, why not just carry on and let his football do the talking?? And his over the top celebration at the end needs investigating. Something tells me it will go into Dowd's matchday report, but as it is against a Man U player, one assumes it will go unnoticed by the FA!

Agreed, Sky says the FA do not intend to investigate handshake. Suarez served his sentence. End of story

The guy has done his time and should have shook hands and be done with it, cannot believe that this incident overshadowed the game! I don't blame evra in behaving the way he did after the game but it did not help things and this saga will continue

I think out of the whole thing Daglish has made himself look like a complete prick.

Evra and Suarez are both idiots but Suarez was found guilty of saying racist comments to Evra.

However i don't have anytime for any footballers these days. All they give a shit about is the money. They really think they are something when in fact there are more important things in the world than your petulant behavior. Have some fecking dignity while get paid millions for 90mins for which all us fans would do for free.

Football is just not the same anymore. Money has corrupted players and ruined football clubs like ours as well.

    Have a nice day :pimp:

His almost complete denial of what Suarez said to Evra for his 8 match ban and his pop at the sky sports presenter for making things up pretty much!

A club like Liverpool are basically publicly backing a racist. 8 games is not enough for racial abuse. In any other job you would be sacked if you did that in the workplace. Football for them is a job and employment good practice must be adhered to in similar circumstances.

Somebody needs to get a grip of Dalglish as he appears not to of grasped the situation. The interview after the game was embarrasing. "I didn't know he didn't shake Ervas's hand"

Aren't fans hit with a massive ban (if not lifetime) for racial abuse in the stands?
