Ah, don't remind me of that final day in 2007/08 & the infamous Charlton away trip.
Absolute horror show, makes me angry still now. We stayed up thanks to a once in a lifetime, world class goalkeeping performance from Carlo Nash in goal for Stoke v Leicester.

We were appalling & Coleman should have walked there & then.
If you told anyone in attendance that day that Kasper Schmeichel would go on to be a top Premier League goalkeeper you'd have been sent to have your head tested.

Yes saw the highlights and we were lucky with the Stoke goalie. Also followed game late at night/early morning. One other thing from Perth days, remember checking around 4am on whether SISU had indeed taken us over. I was pleased at the time and should have that same head examination in retrospect .

If results stand , Rotherham will be 3 points behind Birmingham and 4 games in hand on them and much better goal difference. Breathing down on us as well.

Far too many people were too confident of walking over Wycombe today the players look lost confidence looks shot and the manager seems out of ideas...

Not any more.

If we can’t be motivated to put in a performance in a game of this magnitude then we don’t deserve to stay up.

It's a bad pitch. Don't worry. Our away form will save us.

I wasn't. Called it to be a draw today. Whilst there is no question that Wycombe are down, they will continue to upset the plans of teams at either ends of the table.
Relieved to get a point today and a mixed bag with the other results. I'll say it again - We will squeak survival.

Why do you keep repeating this? I didn't see one post that indicated we'd walk over Wycombe.

I don't think survival was merited on this fixture alone? If 3 teams finish below us then we'll have deserved to stay up.
4 points from 6 won against Wycombe.

Well there wasn't. The vast majority believed that whilst we should be beating Wycombe, it was by no means going to be an easy game.

It's OK, there's an international break coming up - Robins will whisk the squad off to Magaluf for a team building exerc, oh bollocks.

Derby have picked up 2 points in the last 6 games. They have lost to Millwall, Coventry, Cardiff, and Stoke and drawn with Brentford and Barnsley so they haven't particularly had a difficult run of games.
They have Reading Norwich and Swansea to play in their run in, and Wednesday + Birmingham from the bottom.
I would say at the moment they have more cause to worry, particularly as we have a game in hand.

Less confdent than I was but still in with a half decent shout of staying up, more due to others being worse probably.

Chances are we'll pull off a shock result from nowhere when we least expect it.

We look lost we don’t create and when we do get 1-2 chances they fall to probably the least clinical striker we’ve ever had

Yup. Agree with this.

We definitely do have another Brentford performance in us.

I agree with that but we have taken 5 points from our last 6 games, Derby have taken 2, we are a point behind them with a game in hand.
I was just pointing out that although today was disappointing, it has no bearing on whether or not we are going to get relegated, other than the 2 points lost today.

You must be the biggest clown i've ever seen on any football forum (and i was around from the old Rivals days)

Do you base your opinion solely on what happened today? Or the last two games? What about when we beat Brentford, did you think we'll make the playoffs?

At half time today you predicted that we would both lose 1-0 and draw 0-0

If three teams finish below us the season will be a success. If not, it will be a massive blow but not the end of the world. We were in the 4th division three seasons ago.

The "sack Robins" posts across this forum are an embarrassment.... considering we've got a great number of posters who mock the Sunderland forums as being reactionary and hysterical, this is pretty hypocritical.

No I’ve been saying it for months I feel we will go down the manager isn’t at the level,Brentford was a fluke we got lucky of their mistakes, robins set us up 1 up front at home to the worst defensive record I’m not shocked by today I’ve said all week too many are over confident about this game, any football chairmen who was actually interested in their club would of maybe made the change in jan...if we go down it’s a financial disaster how can you think it’s not a big deal

Birmingham GD taking a hammering last few fixtures

So every time we have a good game its a "fluke". But if we have bad games then its "our level".... the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

You've also spent months crying that we don't have any decent strikers... now you're moaning that we don't play more than one of them up front.

You're all over the place (as per usual).....
