Would be interesting to know the pros and cons of doing it in house nowadays.

Would have to sort the infrastructure, presenters, cameras etc but then on the other hand could have money from advertising, streams etc.

I doubt it'd cost that much to set up these days.

You don't need big studio cameras and mics, you can get a camera good enough for streaming and youtube for a few hundred quid and good lapel mics are dirt cheap.

Most decent laptops would be good enough to run a stream and the software is free.

I mean to film the actual game properly it would need multiple cameras, somebody doing production for the replays etc.

Not sure how it works with cwr at the minute to use commentary but assume they get some money.

Then it needs the infrastructure for streaming it as well as for subscribers / payments.

Ah right I get you.

Yeah that'd be a lot you'd assume. Also reckon you'd need licensing from the EFL to be able to stream the games, which I imagine isn't cheap.

Guessing that's why a lot of clubs just used the iFollow feed and then put their own commentary on top of it. I remember one club, possibly Swansea had a little camera pointed at the commentators and had it overlayed in the corner which I thought was quite cool.

Never even considered this tbh but don't you get slammed with surge pricing at the end of the game?

at most a couple of quid but if you are speedy out there's usually a load of taxi's parked up just through the underpass and if not loads will come round and are easy enough to get if you walk to between the former pizza hut roundabout and the A444 roundabout

Hard to work out what to make of this game.

Ordinarily this would be our big showcase game and you’d get an idea of the team we’d start the season with.

This year we’ve already played Getafe and have Bremen and Roma to come.

Got Evertonians in the family, staying with me here in Paphos this week ….
We’ll be at opposite ends of the sofa , watching on the Firestick tonight.
depending on the result I’ll decide whether to take the air-con remote off them later

Given that he hasn’t featured in any games for any of our sides it’s a safe assumption

Not really. If it was an injury it’s quite easy to call out when asked.

It starts 30 minutes before kick off. I’m watching it now. Just live footage of the arena filling up and some funky music on repeat at the moment
