Such a beautiful day!Reminds me of the last game of the season, 84/85. We beat champions Everton 4-1 on a glorious sunny day. The only game my late Mom ever went to.
Yep, sat in the Everton end for that one, couldn’t get a Cov ticket. A good performance, but Everton definitely on the beach. An important result, because would we have won the cup if we’d been relegated in that season? Wonder how many players in that team were in the Cup Final. Quite a few, I’d have thought….Such a beautiful day!

We were in the Thackall Street (North) Stand. Only time in all those years I ever sat there. Only sat in the Main Stand for Central League games.
