So this was SISU in its prime!! a one big clueless bunch of cluster f**Ks.

To think that some of the poor Sky Blue faithfuls gave up there club shares to have SISU and there pals run the club. Really feel we would have been better off in administration in 2008.

Well we can only learn from there mistakes.

I'd proof read this... 'Coventry City board unveiuled in 2011 (from left): Paul Clouting, Ken Dulieu, John Clarke, Leonard Brody and Onye Igwe'

Ranson and the Cardiff link - lets say lots of money was allegedly made, as that was under the Welsh FA where 3rd party ownership of players rules is different to English FA!!

After: Brody remains a shareholder in CCFC... ...There are also suggestions he could be lining up a bid to become the new mayor of Vancouver, Canada, during elections scheduled for this November.

On that quiz too, Onye claimed Sky Blue Sam was a bad role model because he was fat, seriously? It's an elephant.

Considering he is from the African sub continent, you would think he know that.

I like this bit:

Quote:

The Swiss-educated Nigerian was a director at Sisu and highly thought of by Sisu boss Joy Seppala

Oh dearie me Joy! .... That says alot about SISU's competency then.

Those greyhounds set a bad example for kids though don't they? With their ribs showing and all, that's just encouraging young girls to get eating disorders so they can get on the cover of Parklife too.

Not really helpful is it. Don't think any of us need reminding how much of a mistake that line up was. Just opens up old wounds and paves the way for a few points scoring and bitching

Only at Coventry City could we have this post most sensibly run clubs worry about the best team on the pitch we have to worry about the best off it. None of this group should ever be allowed near the club again especially Clarke.

SImon, could you also do a piece on Elliot, Hoffman, Keys and the imminent (Dec 2008) takeover? Cheers.

Just leave him to it mate, Torch has his on and off days, and today must be 1 where he cares more about the conspiracy against BIG BAD SISU than anything else. But to answer the one I know, Keys is still a cockend like before.

Thanks Lewis for understanding me. I don't think there's a conspiracy against SISU as I think they are bad, as everyone else does. However, there are other players in this farce of ours who seem to be conveniently forgotten.

I am genuinely interested in what Elliot and Hoffman are up to. They tend to come into the public eye spout some stuff, everybody lauds them and then they disappear without another word.

I can't see why people get so touchy when they are mentioned.

To be fair I was having a little joke. Reality is this shouldn't even be a thread because who gives a fuck?! Elliot and Hoffman haven't said anything for a while. Would you feel better if Elliot and Hoffman were saving the Amazon?

I'm sorry; that's farcical. Yes he pathed the path for their arrival. However, it's SISU who carry responsibility for the officers of the business they appoint.

It's tiresome, people blaming Elliott for their incompetence; or Richardson and the like for the entirety of the financial mess that still prevails

Equally as tiresome is people sticking their fingers in their ears and going "la, la, la" whenever Elliot and Richardson are mentioned.

So you're saying they shouldn't shoulder ANY blame at all for the mess we now find ourselves in?

Shows how catastrophic and mistake ridden their tenure has been.

Some still say they should be sold the Ricoh for next to zip because it's CCC's fault they have been held back. Believe SISU can still lead us to the promised land, demanding proof of why they should not be trusted with the Ricoh.

The biggest element for me has been their total lack of consistency and the continual contradictions about what they want, backed up with a confrontational style of engagement.

No. I have never said that, or anything even close. Any takeover of the club was a chance to change the clubs financial model. If it wasn't changed, that's the fault of our current owners.

As I stated the other day; it's like an owner allowing their property to fall into a state of disrepair, and become rife with damp. The new owner buys the house at a knock-down price due to it's state, doesn't deal with the damp, and then tries to blame the original tenant when it falls down a few years later.

Yes, the original owner bears responsibility. Of either the metaphorical house, or our club. But the new owners have to deal with it. To not do so, and constantly and incessantly point a retrospective finger of blame is ridiculous

Fact is, SISU could have blamed their predecessors in the first years of their tenure, but the mess we now have is SISU's responsibility. They have had years to correct mistakes of their predecessors and if the mistakes are only now being corrected or haven't yet been corrected - then that is solely SISU's fault.

What the previous owners did or did not do is pure history.

Not denying anything you said Hobo, just mean will it change anyone's opinion reading that? Those interested already know the score, those not wont even read it.
