Just seen the Plymouth protest on SSN about their club going out of business.

They did a march from the Plymouth City centre to the ground & then did a candle ritual (ooh, fancy)

They got their local MP involved and are trying to force their owners to fork up £6million to bail their club out, or to force them to sell.

Most people in Coventry get more fired up watching Jeremy Kyle than reading about the club's plight.

We just lack the numbers prepared to do it. We also have so few tha tthey are easilly pushed away by a few stewards. If its a protest we need/want. We need numbers of people all in an area of the ground willing to stand their ground and make themselves heard.
If we do it we need to be peacful but if stewards start pushing and pulling individules out, its a one in all in attitude or nothing. We need to stand to gether united. Them 20 or so stewards would stand a chance or even try against West Ham, Villa, or any one else with numbers willing to stand together, we don't have to be violent, we just ahve to stand up and be counted.

and look where that Vill aprotest got them !

ah, McLeish is still manager and the board ignored them..

Pretty sure that would happen here as well.

I had to do a big shop last sunday, and the little un started screaming and going crazy...

I just ignored him and took him to Sainsburys...

Pretty similar to SISU and us really !

I have a few mates who are argyle fans and they said that they are camping out till saturday game if they are still in business. We aint miles away from going out of business so maybe we would get it together if it got that bad.

Aren't we?
SISU have guaranteed funding til the end of this season - when the fair play rules take effect and it looks like this proposed takeover is beginning. I think saying we're not miles away is manipulating the truth a bit...

ccfcway. The point wasn't to see where Villa's demonstration got them, it was to show the numbers needed. We had what about 20 people in the Ricoh reception area on Saturday. They have 1000+ on the video. Thats what we would need to be noticed and not brushed aside by 20 stewards.
Well done with the kid. I know what its like with a screaming child, but its not like your selling all his toys, asking him to stump up his own money for more, and promising him brand new ones and not delivering anything. If Sisu were the parents and us fans the kids I think Ester Ranson would be getting a few calls.

Not really! If sisu dont play ball and lose us even more money admin is pointless because we have no assets besides players contracts. Even GH may not have the money then. Who knows what debt we really have.

I wouldn't get too excited about 30 Janners walking through Plymouth centre chanting which all it was. Spare a thought for the poor few out tonight in the heavy rain which will soon put the candles to bed :claping hands: Horrid club with appaling fans and only 20 miles dwon the road from me

Yeah but we're not exactly in a position as bad as Plymouth are we? Not signing a few players isn't as much to shout about as going into admin, double relegation and losing all of your players and not paying the staff (and spare a thought they do have Peter Reid in charge, I mean come on!)

I think the point is that we just dont have the passion to protest properly, saturdays 'protest' was just embarsassing!!

Peter Reid. Probably one of the most atrocious managers we have ever had.
