Some of our "younger" posters will wonder who we're on about, but believe me guys, he was an absolute footballing genius. Really shocked to hear the news this morning.

So will some of the older ones with that spelling! It's Eusebio.
Great player. Clearly remember him being the 'one to watch' in the '66 World Cup.

Didn't he play at HR once? When N.I. were forced to play a few WC qualifiers (and some home int's) on the main land due to the increasing troubles in N.I.

he did , 1973 northern ireland v portugal 1-1 draw Eusebio scored a penalty.

remember the 68 european cup final, he hit a rocket , stepney made a great save, he walked up to stepney patted him on the back and applauded the save, what a sportsman.
