Very windy here on the coast near Westward Ho! Fences down, lots of power outages (ours ok at the Moment). Last 2 hours the worst. Should start to improve after lunch. All schools shut. Had to stay home to look after the kids today. The good news is that the trampoline is still in the garden.

We've been rerouting drivers from the SW and SE since yesterday and we've got a driver who's had to abandon the last leg f his run in Scorland but the rest of the country doesn't seem to bad so far.

The Australian bush fires in 2019/20 caused havoc with my chest. Almost ruined my New Years celebrations too!

Someone is live streaming at Heathrow. Just had an A380 flap it and go round twice.

Thrilling watch, actually.

Edit: Just seen the post from @SBT - apologies!

Should get this bloke on commentary with Clive.

Every single flight in this airport is delayed and people are sat everywhere.

I got one of the few seats at the pub and am 4 pints in though so let it blow let it blow let it blow.

That massive Qatar flight has had a mare. They've bailed on landing twice already

It´s circling still at the moment and about to come back round to final approach, would not be surprised to see it divert after this.

There is also an Emirates A380 doing the same thing at Gatwick.

Were you supposed to be on the EasyJet flight at 11:30? If so then the last sector which was to Amsterdam and back was cancelled.

The aircraft is on the ground at Bristol not going anywhere at the moment.

+1 for another watching Big Jet TV.

Qatar about to attempt to land for the third time.

I might even clap on landing if I was on that fucker.

Yep that’s it. Can see the plane but they’ve just been waiting for the wind to die a bit.

Others are going to hate now so I need to get another drink in quick.

It's madness how they have to put their foot down to get through the wind as well. Some of the speeds they are coming in at.

It is going to calm down come 5 or 6pm, the problem will be where they need the aircraft positioned for tomorrow, which in all likelihood will be Bristol. They´ll quite happily cancel flights if it puts them at a risk of not having the planes ready for a full day of service tomorrow.

Good luck man.

Have to agree with you on that. I've been everywhere from minus 15 to about 47 and the head just makes everything seem impossible.

I love hot weather in general too.
