[BBC] New UK laws to sweep away EU state aid rules

Anyone who understands the subject think this will have any effect on what's going on with stadium and the EU case etc.?

Think the rules as they were at the time apply in the Ricoh dispute. Is anything even happening with that? Aren't we about a year past when we were supposed to find out from the commission if they were going to take it any further?

I think this is as far it's ever going get and suspect the insects know it hence the 10year deal.

No one expects anything to happen soon. Eu happy uk looked at it so it’s not a priority.

The new rules will only be valid from time they come in. Old legislation will apply to historic cases. Always the same..
