The first long ball by England and the media will be on it straightaway. Big Sam doesn't know what he's in for yet !

DIdn't want Allardyce, don't think he's right for the job but will do nothing but support him now until the evevitable painful tournament exit

Hmmm... is that Roy Hodgson wearing a Sam Allardyce mask?

Same old tippy tappy stuff and no penetration and no threat.

Tis. I keep flicking over to the cricket, but that is just as bad.

Hate it when a weekend consists of England football doing badly, Coventry City losing and England cricket losing as well.

Just need the missus to smile at me and my weekend will be complete.

I don't see the point of Sterling for England.

For Man City he will take players on and beat them and can look dangerous.

For the most part for England he gets the ball and then immediately passes back again. Exactly what he is doing today. Either giving the ball straight back or trying long punts into the box.

I see no difference between the England today and the England that struggled in the Euro's.

Don't think sterling has been our worst player by a long shot...for me that's Kane. But I agree sterling should be more positive and take his player on.

I'm sure that's what he is being told to do.

Well if so it is totally pointless.

Slovakia are playing deep and are hard to break down. We need to get round the back of them and we are totally failing to do so.

He's been our best midfielder today. Dier has been appalling and Rooney? Jesus, he should just be put down.

Not at all. Not having a go at him, you angry little bugger.

I like Sterling. I am just saying what is the point of him for England if they have him playing like that?

You ever thought of anger management?

This IS just like the Euro's.

Just about every cross is being over hit again. Is it the ball they are using or something?

Nope, not great, but I thought they played well against Russia and Wales.

They only have 10 men and it reminds me of a game between mates down the park.

Yay!! Fantastic England. Brilliant performance!

Perfect. Leaving it as late as possible before deciding to score so there is no come back.

Don't think it was half as bad as people are making out, not brilliant but not awful.
