England given one-match stadium ban following unrest at Euro 2020 final

England are ordered to play one match behind closed doors as a punishment for the unrest at Wembley Stadium during the European Championship final.

One match plus a further match suspended. Probably about right.

51 arrests seems low though, looked like a lot more storming the stadium. You’d think they‘d find more of the offenders given where they sat and the CCTV.

So technically they arrested 26 fans at the stadium, for basically pushing into the ground and having a bit of tit for tat with stewards.

Hungary fans racially abused raheem sterling, fans were throwing monkey gestures around the stadium and they received the same 1 match stadium ban and just 58k more in a fine and their fans were allowed to attend the reverse fixture still , and caused bother again

Priorities are right up there fair play

Fair enough we deserved punishment, but the punishments given are all over the shop

(Fifa and uefa fines separate) just noticed

Any chance they can extend the ban for the 'England band'?

Couldn’t agree more. It’s a fucking joke. Our ban expected and accepted of course.

Not fit for purpose.
