Dare I say that 5th goal in the dying stages of a won game was City-esque...not stopped working hard to win the ball up the pitch and go for more goals.

Promising signs.

Wont be judging until we get to the knockout stages of the World Cup though. That's where it matters.

Kane is either underrated or taken for granted. We will recognise that when he retires. Who’s coming through than can do what he does.*

*doesn’t turn up for big games etc

We look better without Bellingham trying to do everything all by himself.

With these potential 3am kick offs at the World Cup, are we doing the all dayer before or after the games?

'British humour made me smile' - England boss Thomas Tuchel enjoys fans' chants

Thomas Tuchel says England fans' chants "made him smile" as they respond to his previous criticism in full voice in Riga.
www.bbc.co.uk
"I got a bit of stick and I found it quite creative. It made me smile and this is how it has to be. It's British humour and I surely can take it. No harm done."

I definitely think we can win the World Cup next year.

As long as Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands and Belgium are all knocked out first

I agree. If we have to play them all at once, we’ll struggle.

Something has definitely ‘clicked’ with the group since Serbia away. Even against Wales we blitzed them and were out of sight after 20m.

I’m looking forward to Tuchel experimenting with the squad. Right now, the only change to make is to get Bellingham or Foden in the team. Anderson probably isn’t

Saka, Gordon complemented each other and Kane v well. Bellingham.

The transition from SouthGOAT tedium to pass and move football hasn’t taken him long. Look forward to seeing it against top level opposition next.

The addition of speed has made the change - between Saka Gordon Eze and Madueke

Qualifying is routine now, borderline a waste of time imo. Under Southgate, we broke England records for goals scored in qualification and so on.

The best team we’ve played, Senegal (in terms of world ranking) and we got battered 3-1. That’s the best team pencilled in between now and the World Cup.

Ultimately, Tuchel’s tenure gets judged on 2-3 games from the quarter finals onwards.

Then we need to get some friendlies in against much better opponents.

Agree with the sentiment of finding a role for Bellingham or Foden, and generally not a fan of Rogers (At international level, that is) but his style of play also seemed to complement the attacking trio a lot more with his one-touch play. Tough one.

I can’t fathom the idea that we’ll get to a World Cup and not start either Foden, Bellingham or Palmer. One of them will start, Bellingham has X-Factor and the ‘clutch’ gene that you need to win a World Cup.

I’ve heard Honduras will be one of the Miami games but there’s a lot of rumours milling about.

100% - qualification is a joke. I genuinely believe the Nations League should be the basis of the UEFA international calendar. Too many pointless fixtures, even when we’re shit we qualify with ease. Last loss in qualifying was in 2009!

Japan beat Brazil in a friendly yesterday.

Can often be tricky opposition.

He’s good to have as a leader off the bench to see out games, tournemant football is slightly different where you need players with experience especially in the latter stages if you’re 1 goal up against say a Brazil or France

He's a leader who has led England to failure in the past despite odds in their favour, no thank you
