Looks like Kane should have had a goal then!

Is Gunnarson playing?

A right back at left back and a midfielder at centre back, when there are centre backs like Coady on the bench

Our performance this afternoon is looking better by the minute compared to this rubbish.

I don't why I do it to myself, I always look forward to England games, then just end up disappointed and underwhelmed.

Would love to see Klopp give it a go. Prefer an English manager but there's no one really next in line and I don't believe in going with the best available English candidate for the sake of it.

No left backs in the squad, three right backs only.

Hes interesting to listen to but since he game back to England his teams seem very defensive and negative.

Poor performance but not a surprise with the bizarre squad/team selection.
Got out of jail - moronic from Gomez.

Surely he could have found a left back haven’t Chelsea just paid £50 million for one? There must be others as well

Chilwell is injured tbf.
Could have played Maitland-Niles there but really should have called up Saka, Brandon Williams, Bertrand or even Cresswell.

I don't really care, only realised they were playing when I looked at LiveScore earlier. Looks like they again did the best league in the world proud

The Albion one is Pat’s who’s the kit man. Pickford normally takes his in too but I didn’t see it there. The plain St George’s Cross was the FA’s. It’s got the cities, towns and villages of the 21,000 Travel Club members written in red to make the cross. Gutted I couldn’t be there. Same as Tuesday. As for the performance it’s similar to a few from the past. We dominate, our defence don’t do a lot, create plenty of chances but we just don’t finish. If the Kane goal had stood we probably would’ve bagged a couple more. No idea what Walker and Gomez were doing. Two very stupid challenges. On the positive side we got the win despite it being a team that had to be thrown together and Phil Foden really does look good. He’s going to be an important player for us.
