Thought I'd make a thread to use for England under Lee carsley ..

His journey starts today , he has a relatively comfortable first few games and I'm expecting maximum points .

Ireland 1-3 England

It should be an interesting watch, hoping that he instills a positive approach.

Everyone losing their shit that an Irish manager won’t sing an English national anthem needs to give their head a wobble.

I’ll correct myself in that case to an Irish international footballer

It's another wedge issue isn't it, I've heard his reasoning and that'll do for me!

Unsurprisingly, the bot accounts on Twitter have been fired up about it.

It's only your Sun/Daily Mail reading types who will be arsed about it - thankfully the silent majority of people couldn't be arsed

Jeff is also a bit triggered.

JEFF POWELL: Carsley's refusal to sing national anthem is a betrayal

On another note, I always suspected you had a Mail subscription after the Peter Bone revelation.

Looks like Trent will invert alongside either Mainoo or Rice. Interesting.

Might as well bin it off tbh if majority aren't interested in it, or get a new one. We never really do have the same passion as French, Italians or other nations

The Republic are very poor these days, England should win comfortably.

Yeah we should be absolutely thumping these. That team wouldn’t compete at PL level.

Ireland is similar to the home nations, always put in a lot more effort against us than against most other teams.

Going to try to make it a turgid piece of shit game like most other teams.

Spanish flag spotted already amongst Irish crowd ( pathetic) plus thought these 'great' Irish fans would be a little less hostile to us. Shame, but suppose that's politics for you.
