The two run outs don’t really count tho as they just had to go for it.

NZ should really win since they lost the least wickets.

If Richie Benaud was commentating, he'd recall one better.

I really don't understand how these rules work. Same score super over, same score again England win ????

Never watched a cricket game in my life. I’ve watched the last hour and it was one of the most tense and exciting games of sport I’ve ever seen. I don’t get all the rules, but understand just about enough I think.

Not sure either, maybe alphabetic or runs scored during tournament?

Well that was as close as you could possibly get.
It was unfair in a way because England had the advantage of a batsman who was already in.
The most logical thing would be to decide a tie on wickets lost.
But this was a much more dramatic conclusion.

It’s simply the second batting team must exceed the first teams score

Looked it up, it’s done on boundaries scored in the 51 overs. England won on boundaries!

If scores are tied after a super over the team that hit the most boundaries during the initial 50 over match wins.

If super over scores tied they count back the number of boundaries in each innings of actual match .....England had more

What a game!!! Tough on New Zealand but great win for England !!

It’s a bit random as batting second chasing at the end boundaries are more likely

Argument is just as difficult for the 2nd over bowler going in cold
