Middle order bowling atrocious.
Still batsmen bailing out this team.
Keep producing these 350+ pitches and we will come unstuck in WC. 358 should never be considered a par score.

Quick outfield, small boundaries, two new balls. The game is set up for batsmen. Our bowlers no worse than any others. Also remember Archer wasn't playing yday.

Been an ongoing issue that the quicks can't take wickets in middle overs. Stokes is just fodder bowling. Large % of Plunkett wickets catches in the deep whilst consistently going for 6/7 an over.
Off day for England batting 1st in WC and it's going to be all over.
Balance isn't right atm.

6/7 an over is good in today's game!

Archer looks like exactly what were missing, I think he is what we have missed in the past 2 tours down under. Watched a lot of him in the IPL and he was unbelievable at the death.

We won at a canter yesterday without Rashid, Archer & Buttler. Bairstow carrying his excellent IPL form through to the Pakistan series.

ODI cricket can be won and lost by any team on its day, hope we get a couple of tougher tracks in the next couple of warm ups.

I believe Stokes was injured so did not bowl much. he's a very good bowler for breaking up partnerships.
Very few bowlers are much good on batting wickets.
Surprised Archer has been omitted from last two games. Hopefully that means he is definitely in.
England had some luck in the last ODI. Without all the dropped catches, the result could have been different.

It could have been. But England never drop that many catches. It's not luck!

Getting ridiculous when pundits are debating whether a score of 500+ is possible on today's pitch.
Still should always aim to be a reasonable contest between bat and ball.

100 in 50 balls and then a duck.
This is why cricket is always interesting.

Happy with the squad myself. Willey could deem himself a bit unlucky but for me he's probably the weakest of the lot.

Makes a change to be picking from a position of strength. Really is a squad of 20-25 players who could do a job.

Yes, fantastic times for England cricket. This summer is huge for future of the game I think. Chance of winning an Ashes and WC in same summer. If kids can't get hooked on cricket this summer they never will. Such a shame there is no free-to-air cricket. I play club cricket and the general standard and participation has declined drastically in the last 10 years.

ok. Morgan fractured finger. Wood pulls up. Colly on as a sub to protect Archer. Plus good odds on another 5 a side injury pre-tournament

Good work from the schedulers. England v Australia in Southampton at the same time Hampshire are playing at Lords in the Cup Final.

Thought that. It's poor.
Don't like Hants but basically taking their 2 best players is a bit of a farce. Could have played them in other ODIs and given them this one off.

It’s made a farce of the final but maybe they want that with their beloved 100 on the way

All these injuries makes you wonder just how fragile this team is.
And now they are coming up against better bowlers, the batsmen are not all they have been hyped up to be.
Still we could have won this one but for a few stupid decisions.

Losing Wood dramatically changed bowling options and Smith aside wasn't that impressed with Aussie batsmen.
Own batting order disrupted, some cheap dismissals but inability to play Lyon probably key.

I think a Morgan keeps our top to middle calm, slows the play and gives us a chance to regroup. We didn’t have that yesterday but not taking much out of it. Hats of to smith, he had a blinder

these warm up games showing there's a lot of batsmen friendly wickets about. Still shouldn't be the case that 350 is becoming a par score.

so who do you think will win the tournament? Heart would love England but head says India or Australia. South Africa at about 10/1 looks great value however!

Didn’t get England tickets- but me and the cricket mad lad are going to the Australia Sri Lanka game at the Oval. £7 for the lad and £26 for his unfit, best sporting days in the past Dad!

Would have loved to see England but couldn’t even work out how the whole system worked. Enrolled etc. But it was so confusing. Would love to watch the windies, would be a great day out

Think we have a good chance. Outsiders could be W Indies if it comes to a run fest.

Don't know whether you'll be able to get this to work. Not BBC but good enough.
