The uncomfortable truth that fans have to accept is that football is a business and an expensive one.

The higher up the pyramid we go the less inclusive and affordable it will be for our supporters.

Some fans that have supported City through thin and thinner won’t be able to afford the higher prices. They will be replaced with less committed fans or new fans who can afford them.

It’s not nice but it is how the business model works for football and therefore for Coventry.

In the premier league UK fans are now complaining that they are being priced out in favour of international tourist fans. Why ? Because clubs know those fans who come for the weekend or less frequently than season ticket holders spend more at the club shop and in the ground when they do come. They want to make the most of that rare experience.

This smacks of encouragement of the awful model of English football is becoming.

He’s our ticket to the premier league next year! Match winner.

Good decision to employ Lati as his bodyguard. Needs to get that boot off though.

It's a black tie event, so no, they don't have a black tie between them.

No surprise Sheaf has his top button done up. Classy guy. The rest of the scruffs though, pah. You’ve got all the money in the world, but a shirt where you can do your top button up.

Should add an extra million or two on to his price tag! Can play a bit but also meet the standard requirements of formal dressing. Sue Perb.

For a formal awards dinner he actually has the wrong outfit. In fact only a few such as MVE and Bobby are wearing the correct black tie attire. Others look a shambles.

Afraid Sheaf has rocked up looking like he’s going to be providing legal advice down the chambers.

Great player though…

To be fair he's the most beduff like player in the squad, I can see why they've took a shine to him.

Great evening, with great company! There’s definitely going to be a few of the players who will be nursing a sore head this morning! The Jamie Allen award for most hammered goes to…..(drum roll please) Jamie Allen Also for the fashion conscious out there, the event was labelled a “lounge suit” event, so less formal and not a black tie. Enjoy your summer break everyone! PUSB

Looking like a proper Junior District Attorney for NY there.

Player of the Season, Players Player of the Season…guess he’s off then.

So, was there no Young Player of the Season?
