Fellow City fans I implore you, for the long term benefit of the club, stay away from the Ricoh. Do not buy any merchandise. Let's starve the buggers out.

We are going to be relegated this season anyway, so let's do the only thing that gives us any semblance of control. Forget your banners and your chants and your trips to London. SISU care not a jot. There is only one way to get SISU out of Coventry, and that is to kick them in the only place it will hurt them - in the wallet. Only once they realise that the money they lose each month is increasing will they beg Gary Hoffman to buy the club. And if Gary declines then they will put us into Administration.

Administration is now the honourable way to die, instead of this creeping malaise.

I dont think we should boycott.

I think going to games and protesting is the way forward.

I don't get this when people say Sisu aren't bothered by a protest, I think the reactions of the stewards at the Watford game show that Sisu are very sensitive about a protest. Their whole business plan is persuading people to invest in them and trust them with their money. If we bring it to the attention of the business world that Sisu are incompetent then they will soon get embarrased and will clear off.

I myself would love everyone to persuade there families and friends, all the guys who haven't been up for a while and school kids to turn up and fill the Ricoh for the rest of season and really attract some investment.

In reality everyone I've spoke to is pissed off and can't be bothered anymore, no excitement no signings they say.

I fear it's only the die hard who will see this through.

I understand the sentiment, but I think SISU are more hard noised than that. They currently have about £30 plus million investment in the club and no real interest in putting any more money.

There not likely to opt for admin as SISU are the only people likely to loss out in that situation.. I would think they are more chance of them liquidate us.

Are the few thousand (if that) walk up fans gonna make any difference. They have our season ticket money already. What we make on a match day on merchandise and catering is a pittance. A boycott is not the answer and like Hoffman has allegedly said. SISU do not care about our protests.

They want out and want to be reimbursed. Admin will not happen as they are probably selling turner to service the loans/ mortgage. The rest is to SISU so it won't happen

If a boycott happened this would mean SISU will cut costs even more. SISU don't care about the position of the club they will keep cutting costs until the books are balanced no matter where this ends up with CCFC in the divisions. If we had the fan base a team like Derby did we wouldn't be in this situation.

Does anybody remember Sam Hammam talking about Wimbledon saying that he could play the games behind closed doors as he didn't need the fans. Bet for a premiership club that could be possible.

(not that this has any bearing on issue, it just got me thinking)

of course people who have brought there season tickets should go it is stupid to say they shouldnt but the club are not giving the walk up fans any reason to turn up so they wont this is the issue SISU are selling a crap product that the fans wont buy into. its a catch 22 no fans no money no investment - no money no investment no fans . it is a stand off as simple as that. the fans dont belive the owners for the shit and lies they constantly spout so wont turn up and the fans are fed up with no investment 10 years of struggling in this league so have got to the point of im not spending my money there!! who is right is a matter of opion, will there be a winner out of this god knows but it wont continue like this for ever that is for sure !!!:slap:

I think fans want to feel like their doing something. I'm a season ticket holder so I'm going to continue going, but I am not putting another penny into the club until we have new owners or Sisu start to invest. yeah... I posted that and immediately thought it was a bit harsh.

I just don't get the idea of doing something by doing nothing.

For me, the money I spend on the club... the season ticket, the JSB membership for my daughter, the replica shirt, the ridiculous rubber duck, the retro shirt... all of that stuff... It's bigger than SISU, Richardson, McGinnity... anyone. Yes the money goes towards a regime who aren't fulfilling our own ideals, but we're buying into a legacy. Watching my team is something I've done for as long as I remember, and now my daughter, who is 2 and a half... well she's Sky Blue Sam's biggest fan!! As long as I declare myself a Coventry City Supporter they will have my heart and unfortunately, my wallet.

Totally understand why people who've paid good money for a season ticket wont stay away but boycotting just 1 game (such as 1 on sky you could watch anyway) would be a massive show of the only real power we have - frankly sisu dont give a fuck if we like them or not it all about money, if they genuinely believe their ability to bring in money from fans is in jeopardy that may be enough for them to consider whether it may be more prudent to take the offer on the table and go.

SISU is a group of anonymous high-roller financiers. Not one of them works as a steward. To extrapolate the behaviour of Dave Snozzer from Bell Green as being somehow an indication of how SISU feel is frankly daft.

Possibly but chants from the stands, t-shirts and banners will not effect SISU in the slightest imo. If it was something that could cause SISU or the board a lot of distress and time consuming it could affect them.

You so do not understand what they have done, they have not put money in the club, they took on GR's debt and after allowing RR 3 years to try his failed scheme of buying & selling up to a promotion team (albiet with significant restrictions) they have...

a) Sold RR's collateral & booted him out
b) Loaned even more money to keep the club going while they...
c) find ever more inventive schemes to suck money out

On second thoughts I'm sure that can't be true. No as you were mate, I tske it all back, because I know nothing for sure, that is all unsubstantiated speculation..

The only way SISU "continue to fund the club" is by selling our assets. Players/season tickets etc. I could do that in their position. Is that me funding the club,or me making the club self fund itself. SISU aren't putting another penny of their own money in,don't you worry about that.
