So you go onto a thread, try and make out the club hardly do anything for SBITC. Then you list some other stuff and say the only promise they have kept is the SBITC one.

Very strange logic.

I could understand if you went onto a thread about the "stadium" and said the only promise they have kept is the SBITC one, wheres the stadium?

That's not what I said. I said the club only give things that cost them nothing. I have no problem with SBITC, but I do have a problem with CA saying 'look at all the great things we do in the community' when it doesn't really cost CCFC anything at all and using that as a counter argument to try and save the academy.

I didn't mention the stadium and neither did the 5 items quoted from the 'way forward' article. Very strange you'd bring it up.

You do realise good things can be done in the community without costing, right? Great things are done in the community which kind of means he is right for once on that.

I use the stadium example, as it is the most obvious "bullshit" example..

Looks like you have really gone all out to try and make the club look bad in terms of SBITC

Whether it costs anything on a balance sheet or not, donations and resources can still be given. For example office space / premises etc.

I'd get paid regardless of doing something, but if my boss sent me somewhere during that time he would be donating my time that he is paying me for. He isn't handing over lots of cash, but is still having to pay me.

Microsoft give free licensing to charities for example, costs them nothing but it is still a donation / help.

Why criticise someone for giving you facts
If he has angle or not I really don't care.
If someone provides facts that what I want to hear.
Not speculation, gossip and opinion.
Hard facts is what you want from either side.
When someone presents hard facts commend them

Sorry. I can't help it if the subject changed but do try and keep up.

I said I wanted the club to do more and then, when questioned, I presented a list of things the club said they'd do. It's not my fault they publicly announced them and then did next to nothing.

You came on and went onto 2 separate threads and said about CCFC and tried to play the community stuff down, then when things get pointed out you put up a list and say the community stuff is the only thing they do and then go on about other stuff away from it?

I would keep up, if it actually made any sense.

Sorry. I've asked for the club to do more when questioned on my stance for what SBITC actually is and what CCFC do for it.

If you're going to critique me on what I've actually said and then revert to a playground comment like that, maybe you need to give your admin badge to someone else.

And then randomly brought other things into it, then said they are only fulfilling their promise on the sbitc stuff.

I'll put it down to you not being used to forums.

Yes, but Nick doesn't get it - despite clarification having been given several times of the point being made.

It would unfortunately appear we've entered a 'Nick Perpetual Loop'.

Is it like where you pick up on a particular phrase and then try and go off on a tangent about that?

My first post said players need to be paid. Don't think I've ever claimed seppala is ploughing millions into sbitc, but the club do give them things. It's the charitable arm of the club..

Well done to you. Take gold star. However, players will be paid whether they stand on a golf course or visit kids in school.

If you want to go back to my original point now you've lost out on the 'fact' thing, that's fine. However, SBITC put on their balance sheet that what they receive from CCFC has a value that can't be quantified in monetary terms.

I'll repeat for you again, as it's clear your having trouble understanding now the hook is in your mouth, that CCFC don't do enough of the things that they say they'll do.

He presented the fact the club do not pay a tangiable amout of money directly to the project.

You spun office space and asking players who are paid to play popping in to say hello and signing autographs as a way as contesting his point.

His point is fact they do not pay a direct amount of money into it.

You accuse him of spinning to make the club look bad whilst spinning in attempt to deminish his stated fact. In order to make the club look good.

His was a stated fact yours is spinning, sorry but in this example you are doing exactly what you are suggesting he is doing.

Saying that I don't like his bite comment which completely puts him in Grendels brackets and destroys his credibility

I've never said the club plough money in, I've said they do make donations in other ways.

It isn't really spinning anything is it?

My point about him trying to make the club look bad is because he came on and his first posts were straight in about sbitc across different threads....

Sbitc, community stuff, jsbs and that side of the club never get enough credit. I'm not saying seppala should be worshipped, I'm saying the people involved. There are club employees who also work hard on it.

As I've said before, the club don't need my help to look bad.

I've made my point and you don't like it. You can either get over it, or admit that the facts are the facts.

I was with him. I am all for facts and get rid of the spin this way and that way shit.
Fact of the matter is the club themselves do not do anything exceptional on the community front and are throwing it in there when it suits. Saying that they could do nothing at all if they really wanted. So in reflection of some of the other things they do, we should be thankful of small mercies.

However saying that I have changed my mind on this particular poster with the 'biting' shite.

I would just prefer the facts from now on if possible without the spin

Just because their balance sheet says it can't be put into monetary terms, it doesn't mean it doesn't cost anything.

I'm not on about whether they are building a stadium, academy etc. The discussion was on about sbitc wasn't it? The same thing you have also said is the only thing ccfc actually follow through on.

Especially as you could also argue they are trying to become self sufficient much to the anger of people that's on their list.

Hook in the mouth? Ha you will have to work a bit harder.

But isn't that what sbitc is for? The community stuff?

It's a charity so they can get grants, the club then offers stuff such as marketing, office space, merchandise etc etc to help them? For example the Jimmy hill legacy fund, if people help they get things like behind the scenes access to the club. They work hand in hand don't they?

Sbitc will have a section on here in the coming weeks, so they can get even more exposure to city fans

I would be very surprised if we get anywhere complaining about the loss of netball facilities or the impact on local netball. Wasps have bribed them, sorry I meant donated money to local netball.

especially as no one seemed to care until it was something else we could argue about wasps with.

I have never seen one post on these entire forums about netball in Coventry until the academy issue.

A touch more than 'donated money' -

Would you have expected to? It was more the case of people looking at what facilities were being removed and suggesting others at the same risk as our academy might support any campaign.

Same difference, unless you think the owner of Wasps has had a long held desire to also run a netball team!
