Should Presley be approached I hope he has enough self respect to tell them to do one!

There's more chance of the real Elvis being offered the job and he'd probably be better at it, even in his current condition.

Cue about 15 replies to the OP with various puns based on Elvis's back catalogue. I'll start....'surely we're in the heartbreak hotel already without SP coming back to make things worse"

I can't for the life of me see why we would want him back or why he would want back. It's a non starter surely?

We're all shook up, with suspicious minds, so don't be cruel.
If we hire him, please return to sender.

I think the plan is to appoint Steve Evans, so we can all focus on someone to be disliked (if that is possible) more than TF.

We need a little less conversation and a little more action.

Actally and if he ever gets a start, we could sing Ruben La-merias to the tune of Viva Las Vegas ... I know it'll never catch on but I like it and will be singing it alone in my car when I next hear it

I agree. Surely he'd rather be anywhere else than here today.

If we are still paying him compensation, I wouldn't be surprised if Mad Joy and Timmy want him to earn his money and reappoint him, instead of forking out for a new manager

Ladbrokes suspended betting on SP now.
Seems the perfect choice....
it didn't work out last time and he failed and was sacked. He hasn't succeeded in other jobs since
What more credentials do you need?

As long as it isn't Pressley - like the bloke but we should go back - then I'm not really bothered. I'll support whoever it is.

It's perfect.

Because he failed so badly last time our expectations will be incredibly low.

We can then hold the open bus tour and ticker tape parade through the city of Coventry following our staying up on the last day of the season by the skin of our teeth.

It's a madness, but hey, 'it's Coventry City Football Club. What else do we expect?

I think it being claimed that Labrokes 'suspended betting on SP' is wide of the mark (plus it took about five days for it to be reported), they've just suspended the market and SP happened to be the 5/2 favourite at the time.

Although maybe that's me trying to convince myself..

I work at a solicitors and he bought a house using us in leamington just after he left the city. Would most certainly be him but don't read much into that. He was still living there when manager at Fleetwood
