get one with a battery, otherwise you need a very long lead.

GMBN on YouTube did a video only a few weeks ago on electric bikes. They know what they're on about as they use ex pro downhill and cross country racers as there presenters.

There were some on the ideal world shopping channel earlier. 459 and 900 odd on Amazon.

No idea if they are any good, but they looked OK.

Viking Hiko 6sp 36v 250w Electric Folding Bike with 20inch Wheel (445338) | Ideal World

They a look a bit girly though.

Yeah, haven't seen many that look decent. There's a g tech one that looks like a mountain bike but still not up to that level

Lad at work had one while he was banned.
Nightmare to overtake after work doing about 30.
It was around £900 and would have been robust enough for what you need BRRM but I have no idea of the brand ,he was a mental peddler though. He sourced it from a specialist dealer in Leicester.

Thanks for that , some of those look promising , it looks Like having a decent battery is key and pricey . They should set up charging points for free if they are hamering the internal combustion engine drivers everywhere in Western Europe , I hear VW are offering refunds on some cars now

Been looking at these as a cost saving measure, might make cycling ten miles each way possible for an unfit fucker like me. And the traffic in Warwick is shocking so probably wouldn’t take much more time.

Agree there should be incentives like there are with electric cars, it makes bikes a lot more viable for a lot more people. We’d still have shocking cycling infrastructure though :/

I've been looking also, It can take me an hour some mornings to get from Radford to Walsgrave, so I'm thinking of getting one for the summer, they can be upgraded very easily to whip you along nicely, as long as you keep it to yourself, if you catch my drift :angelic:
