Those pesky people at the Trust killing our club again. Now they have rigged a Football League poll that will somehow allow Hoffman to buy the club. What a devious, devilishly clever bunch they are!
I voted for Option B but did so with a heavy heart. Looking at the results of the poll and thinking about the situation logically, I am actually quite pleased the result came out as it did.
Firstly, the FL will in no way be bound by this result or anything that City fans have to say or do. They are far more likely to act in line with the threat of the inevitable legal action from Sisu if no ground share was allowed. A ground share is still very much on, whatever the poll says.
Secondly, no one can say that City fans have said it is okay to move us this time. They have clearly said no to a move.
In reality that poll could have asked two questions;
Do you want your club to die quickly?
Do you want your club to die slowly?
I think what most of those who voted no to a groundshare are saying is; we want our club in Coventry.

You could have made the last question crystal clear - do you vote for CCFC expulsion from efl

Are you saying the EFL dictated the questions?

Yep, and considering how many clubs rent their stadia now, they will more likely be sympathetic to the CCFC cause (5 offers of groundshare show that)

I think It shows they see a chance to make an easy buck out of our mess like Northampton did. I don't think they give a rats ass about us other than that.

We hosted the survey on the EFL’s behalf. We didn’t pick the questions.

Was any explanation given as to why this was done via the trust rather than via the clubs database of supporters which would have had a much greater reach?

No idea. At a loss there. It’d be interesting to find out if this sort of question from the PL/EFL or similar has ever had to go our before.

Didn't voted personally as I don't believe the EFL take any consideration of the fans opinions so I did not want to play the game. I can only guess those who did vote for expulsion did so from one of two angles.
1) They are NOMP until SISU go and they don't go home or away. They believe in a phoenix club as the only way to get SISU to go (Not that many people I suspect)
2) They know SISU won't allow the club the be expelled. They believe the legal action is purely to put financial pressure on Wasps. They believe that the only way to keep Coventry in Coventry is if SISU face a choice of the Ricoh or expulsion and keep the legal action going. They assume SISU given such a choice would choose the Ricoh? (I would hope there are more thinking like this than the phoenix route)
These are the only 2 things that make sense to me.
