We shall see which players are most highly valued by the price fetched for their 'poppy' shirt on eBay.

With 30+ mins to go the highest bids look like getting close to £300.

I hypothesise that eBay shirt cost x £200k = true worth of player...you may have a view?

PS before anyone gets too serious it is tongue in cheek (mostly)

You do realise 300 x 200,000 = 60,000,000!

I somewhat think richard wood is not worth 60million quid!

I'll give them £2.50 and a bag of pork scratchings for Hussey's shirt.

Chris Hussey's is selling for more than Murphy, Clarke and Christie....

Jamie Reckord's is going for £206.

Should have been listed as an actual item for charity- would have gained the charity symbol and guaranteed money raised went to charity. (not that I'm doubting, just questioning why they didn't list properly as a charity range of items)

In fact Roy O'Donovans shirt at £185 must be more than his actual worth.

I doubt they'd diddle the Royal British Legion

eBay waive the fees for charity items I think

so currently a £300 shirt will give £30 to eBay!!!

I didn't know that...sounds like ccfc missed a trick.
However if they pay the money and tick gift aid they could add 20% meaning the £270 becomes £324!

Not sure they can alter things once bidding has started? Methinks fees will have to be paid.

What I want to know is how they can sell 21 Match Worn shirts? I thought the most that could take the field would be 14?

You can't use the below description unless it was actually worn in the match surely?

2012/13 Coventry City home shirt, as worn in the Remembrance Weekend match versus Scunthorpe by

Doesn't matter if it was worn on the sidelines under a bib it's still nothing more than a spectators shirt at the end of the day.

The Edge's shirt went for £360 so by my reckoning he must be valued at £720k...sounds about right!
