I say get rid this summer free up some wages, or maybe because he will be in the last year of his contract might put some effort in. Even if he turned it round this season I wouldn't extend his contract.

ps blonde moment on the spelling of enigma tried to change it but software won't let me.

I don't think we can get rid, no-one will take him on those wages.

If he had a great season you wouldn't extend it on principle because he hasn't been great before? So players have to be 100% great at all times? Luckily we don't apply that same logic or we'd have nobody signed to a contract ever.

no player is great all the time, but a few flashes of goal scoring in three years and no form before he joined us from Wolves do not indicate that a sudden change of form is around the corner. Would love him to have a great season next year but I wouldnt bet my mortgage on it. AT makes a big thing of it being a team and Eastwood has never come across as someone who buys into the team ethic. He needs to do much much more than he has in the past to convince a lot of people he is the class player he is purported to be, because lets be honest we have seen little of that class so far.

Personally I would move him on and take a chance on someone else. In reality the same chance because no one knows right now what Eastwood or his replacement would do But we do know what he has done in the past - and it has been very disappointing

Refreshing to see people finally seeing through Freddy. He has been nothing short of abyssmal. How he has lasted so long without abuse is beyond me. Great name, he just looks the part and we all want him to perform, consistently, but a disgrace when you look at his time here.

Eastwood could be good but he has a poor attitude and does very little off the ball in terms of attacking and defending

This is just a hypothetical really, as I'm not expecting much.

IF Eastwood were to have the season of his life though, wouldn't it be insanity to then let him leave because the previous three seasons were no great shakes? I'm sure people would argue that he'd only stepped it up because of his contract expiring, but we're not really a club who can be frivolous with such matters.

"But I think Lukas Jutkiewicz will have a massive season for us, I really do. He was only three goals behind Kingy last year. I have got options to play Gary McSheffrey at centre-forward and I have got ones I want to bring in.

I guess AT doesn't rate Eastwood either.
