He should really have a go now and see if he can help our situation. Nothing to lose, come on lets be avvin ya. Thorn said he will always play the diamond and look what he did yesterday, make the effort....and pay us something back please.

Waster I am afraid, Wolves must have been laughing there socks off when we bought the waste of space of them, afraid he's had his chances and not just with us, if anyone needed sacking or just contract terminated (can't afford it) it is freddie and why should someone be dropped for him seeing as he has no respect for the club that pays his wages or the fans that support the club he gets paid by, so to freddie I say go the way of Thornton etc and become a distant memory (trying to be polite).

The year he signed I got Eastwood 10 on my home shirt. That was the year we thought Eastwood and Morrison were going to fire us into the playoffs under Coleman. Even though those days weren't the best days ever, as fans we were a damn sight happier than we are. Sadly our dreams of even challenging for the playoffs are still a million miles away.

Pretty much what I was going to say, a player who has been given the utmost of chances by the club and more importantly the fans and he has done pretty much eff all.

My point is he should have some respect for the club and fans that fed his family for the past three years and fecking do something, anything.

One goal in every 8 games seems a problem to me. A huge under-achievement. The flagship signing when SISU took over and a regrettable one.

I can only see his time as being up at Cov.

Let's face it, if a professional footballer can't be arsed to get fit then do we really want him here.

I don't understand what you are getting at. If Freddie is fit then why would AT not play him? His job is on the line here!

I don't care if he's fit or not. He has had so many chances and the fact he was out of shape in the first place, clearly demonstrates exactly how little he values the unprecedented support that for some reason despite years of under-achieving and under-performing, still appears to be held in high esteem by some. He has helped bleed the club dry, given nothing back in return and I fully endorse the decision to bomb him out completely however perilous our current plight.

Why do we still debate Eastwood anyway? He would be a has-been except he has never been anything other than useless after a couple of season's at Southend. We may as well bring Mifsud back from Malta - at least he scored some goals for Coventry. Eastwood fans explain to me what at Coventry has he ever done positive on a consisitent basis?

because his wages are high and they are trying to force him out

freddys may not be consistent but hes capable of scoring 5-6 goals in short bursts which could come in very handy right now

On his day he's better than anything else we have at the club.

Just his day rarely comes.

Genuinely don't understand why he can't be sacked. If I turned up for work pissed repeatedly so I couldn't do my job I'd be sacked. Surely being too fat to play is an equivalent for a footballer?

Eastwood should now pull his finger out

Eastwood should have his fingers pulled out for the money he's earning
