Freddy Eastwood will be out of action for 6-8 weeks following surgery on an ongoing knee problem he was having.

Probably a good time to get it sorted now King has signed and all of the other strikers are fit, then when he gets back to fitness there will be loads of good competition upfront.

Bad news.

But i feel we now have suficiente cover for such a injury with our squad depth, to which we've never had in the division before!

Yep, bad news for Freddy but the mighty Sky Blues have it covered !!!!!!! That means he can recover properly and not be thrown back into the squad too early hopefully

its 50/50 news good for other strikers and bad for freddie, i hope hes back soon lets see what our replacments can do with him gone and make there mark on the team.

Shame. feel like we've missed him lately but now he'll have something to prove when he gets back. We have more than enough cover til he returns
