'Deep into injury time at Anfield and it's still Liverpool 1-2 Wolves.'

2 mins later. 'And it's now all over at Anfield and it did indeed finish 2-0 to Wolves, so that's yet another defeat for Wolves. '

I`m sure he called Northampton "Rochdale" at one point unless my old ears deceived me. If so where on earth did that come from?

I know a few people who don't go to games listen on the radio and do phone up to compliment Clive on his commentary.

What they don't know though through not being there, is the amount of times the local commentators keep getting the players wrong.

Against Fleetwood for instance, Eakin called Beavon 'Thomas' at least 4 or 5 times.

Anyone listening in would think that Thomas was heavily involved when it was in fact Beavon.

Always been a big problem and I have noticed it on a number of occasions.

When they interview the manager after the game they don't ask the right questions they give him such an easy
time, they should be asking why gave you played that formation when you don't have the players to play it and why do you keep picking the worst player in league one in Tudgay

Makes my blood boil that!

A major incident occurs, or a strange sub or tactical move is made and half the time CWR don't even mention it.

It's the one thing burning in City fans' minds and they don't even broach the subject.

Infuriating.

Could have been worse. He could have said Cov away at Flyde at the Butts Park Arena in the Checkatrade semi-final against Wasps.

Just as play started yesterday the "Blackburn" fans were making quite a lot of noise. Can't blame them. I'd be pretty pissed off if I'd turned up at the wrong game esp THAT one.

Linnell today.

Went through the league table and said who was in the playoffs and who was still in with chance.

He came to Rochdale and said something along the lines of that they now had no chance of making the top 6.

Just looked at the league table and they are just 6 points behind the playoff positions and with a game in hand.

Yep, clocked that one. No wonder Bristol looked knackered today, playing two teams at the same time.

At least that's 3 very good lower teams we don't have to face next season...

...is Clive still making many cock ups, or have they decreased now that he's only drinking 10 pints prior to kick off?
