Does anyone know if Dutch referees are somehow more lenient? Do they share the whole mentality of “hey anything goes” as Dutch citizens do?

I only say this since Kastaneer (who joined from the Dutch leagues), Hamer (same), and Dabo (played Holland the year before) don’t (or in Dabo’s case, didn’t at first) gauge the measure of what will and what won’t get you booked.

Maybe a coincidence but perhaps someone at CCFC should sit them all down.

They get an awful lot of stick from pundits. Have so much heat put on them it's like a Dutch Oven and it stinks!

Certainly more lenient than our fans, who have more knee jerk hysterical mood swings than a pendulum cuckoo clock!

Boateng got a red on Boxing Day. That was his 2nd game I think!
