Deals for Cyrus and Lee but five released

Coventry City have announced that they have given new deals to defender Cyrus Christie and goalkeeper Lee Burge.

The pair who have come through City's ranks with Christie making a substitute appearance in the Sky Blues League Cup defeat at Morecambe and Burge being on the bench for the away draw at Doncaster Rovers.

Unfortunately, City have announced they are not offering contracts to Connor Grogan, Connor Gudger, Luke Bottomer, Alistair Worby and Luke Adams.

Wouldn't shock me if that's the only contracts were offer to our existing Coventry players.
They'll be injured for saturdays match

At least two are staying on - about average for youth team turnover. Rioch is doing a good job for the club and deserves more recognition for his success.

Just about the only thing that seems to be going well at the club at the moment.

They were probably forced to offer the keeper a contract - he will be our 3rd choice keeper next season behind an inexperienced 20 year old and an equally inexperienced 19 year old....

Perhaps they misheard when they were advised that our corners were terrible
