I'd rather have Clive Dunn in goal than that big galoot.

Dunn is ok and one to work with, Quirke was obviously not rated highly enough and has since then failed to get another club. We need to stop the knee jerk reactions with players, Murphy has moved clubs, moved house, playing with new players etc and we all expected him to settle in without missing a beat, Dunn before the cup game previosly came on as sub on 2 occassions makes one good save and people are clamouring for him because he is obviously better than Murphy.

Footballers whether we like it or not are affected by other things such as home life, and players having to move clubs etc and settle in elesehwere can sometimes find their form being affected.

As it is we are going down and Murphy will be an excellent goalie at that level, so its imperative we keep him next season.
