Surely if people in America want to watch sub par football they can watch their own teams.

Celtic will draw a massive crowd over there.

Philly has a big Irish community and is close enough to the likes of NY, NJ and DC for fans to visit.

The Dundee fans would have been a massive game for them.
It's would be like Watfird fans missing out on when Nan Utd come to town.
It's matches like that that are huge for the fans getting one over the bigger teams.

As someone who lives in America, I can suggest with great reliability that there will be very few people who know about any other Scottish teams beyond Rangers or Celtic. But, whatever, I'm generally not against a club willing to try to extend their fan base to lucrative new horizons, but are these supposed to be League games or just friendlies? Stupid and pointless to have league games on an entirely different continent, in my opinion.
