Can we ban the use of 'Last season we would have lost this game' whenever we draw a game we'd hope to have won. I note that both Tony Mowbray and Matty Roper used it about last night's draw. It's very comforting but smacks of complacency.

It can be a bit of a cliché but in this case I felt it was true. We'd have wilted in the same circumstances.

So a fan and the manager use the term so it should now be banned? Really?

Surely it's just someone's opinion; are they not allowed anymore? And you can't deny that under Pressley it is unlikely we will have come back from being behind to get atleast a point?

Draw was a fair result, we could have snatched it at the death but overall that would have been harsh on Southend

Understand what your saying and they are called 'cliches' for a reason. Often said too many times but its true. If we draw or win games we would have normally lost, thats progress isnt it?

Good thing for me last night although I wasnt there so I am basing this off the 2 numptys on the radio who often get names of teams and players wrong and read other scores during critical moments in the game was that we didnt play very well through out the game (did in spells) and we still didnt lose. If you play shite and get something, your half way there.

Mowbray said last week he doesn't look at league tables, top at Xmas and didn't make play offs with boro, post match last night he said it was a missed chance to go 2nd!

Did make me smile.
