While that is hot as fuck, you’ll be alright cause vegas is geared up for it, everywhere has AC and pools etc. I went to Portland on the weekend that happened to be the record Portland temperature in history in June 2021, 116 F…and nowhere had AC or anythingI'm flying to Vegas on Thursday. The Forcast high is 112 F. I've never been anywhere that hot in my life.

A slightly odd take. Gets its water from the Colorado river mostly from Lake mead and mitigates the impact significantly.But it still uses vastly more water than the area receives. It's hardly a model for how to use water resources.
