At the moment none.
They probably will renew but who knows at what cost?

Well m8!

Woke up this morning in a panic,
Sacking Mark Robins seems a bit satanic,
He got us out of the Championship just like he said he would,
Thanks Doug, League 1 tour never looked so good

Not a great position for the club to be in, then.

Given that without a club playing at the CBS, the last two owners have gone out of business, I do have some faith Frasers understands the importance of us playing.

Think it’s more likely frasers buy us at the end of the five years

It’s not like Frasers have other options either, there isn’t any other potential tenants that have anywhere near our draw.

Agree, but prior to that might they refuse to renew the licence to distress the club, thus lowering the price?

Got that vibe myself. I don't think we'd be playing outside Cov again but I can see a big rental increase incoming.

The irony of our current stadium situation! SISU adopted aggressive tactics including relocating us to Northampton, attempting to financially distress the then owners of the CBS Arena. Now, with Doug at the helm, the club finds itself potentially facing similar pressure tactics from Frasers Group, but from the opposite side of the negotiating table.

Frasers can afford to miss the CCFC rental income for a period

What's the effect on CCFC when they inform the EFL they cannot complete their fixtures?

It's far more important to CCFC than it is to them, it is material to CCFC's future whereas for them it isn't really

Just for understanding, why would the EFL rather expel a member than allow another ground sharing commitment?

Think the likelihood is the EFL would rather keep a club in the league than expel them and would allow us to move ground again with a caveat of building a ground (again).

Meanwhile Frasers would come under pressure from the media just as there trying to get locals onside for the new head campus.

Note the comment but how long would frasers hold out for an asset they haven’t made any public moves for while the long term business plan could be impacted. Then the issue about the pitch belonging to CCFC and the arenas sponsors being pretty mindful about the reputation about the previous owners.

Just can’t see it, but who knows

There's too many unknowns to be sure what will happen. Everything King has said and done is based around a 5 year plan. So let's say we get to the end of the 5 years and we're still in the Championship, the transfer money has run out and Frasers want to put up the rent.

How confident are people that King will start putting his hand in his own pocket to fund the club? I'm not confident at all of that. He even made some comment at the fans forum about it being a problem if attendance dropped so I can't see him chucking millions in every year.

So potentially you have the position where you could have multiple issues. The club could once more in a precarious financial situation, without an owner and without a ground. We got a lot of bending the rules last time round which I feel was on the basis that SISU were convincing the authorities that the council / Wasps were at fault. Would the same apply this time?

Of course there's always been the theory that Frasers want the club, can't imagine it would be too hard for them to get it if Kings 5 year plan doesn't work but not sure we want to be reliant on those rumours being true.

There is no problem with the EFL in ground sharing BUT in Coventry. They blocked any playing outside of the City when Frasers cancelled the SISU licence

The big development Frasers are planning is in Warwickshire who are keen to have it

Struggling to find the EFL notice in 22 about having to ground share in Coventry. Best I could find was the EFL agreeing to Burton and wanting ongoing discussions and then the pitch decision.

Not saying it didn’t happen but I can’t believe the EFL would rather throw the club out than agree a ground share in the midlands.

Fair on the second part as it’s in Ansty but it only got approved 7-5 which wouldn’t suggest an overwhelming support

If after the 5 year deal runs out and we are still in the Championship then gates would drop to maybe 18k. Upping the rent on a diminishing business would not make sense.

The football was improving but we were still ran like a League Two side off the pitch

Ludicrous comment.
You've made a few recently, it's quite bizarre.

You need quite a simplistic world view to think that criticism of King means people want sisu back.

By that logic, whrn you were calling for Robins to go it meant you wanted Slade back, which would be nonsense.

It was sarcasm.

It is ludicrous that people are still trying their hardest to cry about Robins going.

People were even annoyed that King got rid of Boddy because he and Robins were close. The same Boddy people had slagged off for ruining clubs for years.

There were people singing King's name, literally not so long ago.

If you want ludicrous, have a look at who was saying Rhys Carr was "gormless" because he wasn't Mark Robins.

Who said Rhys Carr was gormless because he wasn't Robins?
You can't be referring to me because I said he came across as gormless in his first interview.

Or are you making things up?

As for Boddy, I said King was right to get rid of him. I said it long before Robins went.

I also said I appreciated he'd been thrown in at the deep end but it doesn't suit your weird agenda.

Let's face it. The wankathon over him, his song, loving him being in promo videos has been cringe from the start.

Although I am pretty sure Lampard would have had his demands about what he wants in January / the summer before he accepted the job.
