He said that about players lined up at Sunderland too but then says he wants the manager to manage. So in what way does he have players lined up?

Doesn't matter, he's got all the big ones, all the big names.

I was talking to Sheila.

Who?

Joy's secretary at head office. She was saying that you didn't take over the club not because you didn't want it, but because you couldn't get your beard through the front door.

Ooooh so I just happen to have a ridiculously unkempt beard on the same day I'm meant to be taking over a football club?

So you're saying you cheated medical science, and grew the most ridiculous beard just to avoid buying the club?

What's worse Hoff-cheating medical science, or cheating CCFC fans?

Just my opinion but .......There is so much there that is hard to believe or just doesn't make sense or simply rings alarm bells.

started negotiating in July but only got to exclusivity end of October? Should imagine SISU got bored or tired of waiting

tell everyone that the club would have 10's of millions available...... players lined up that seems like a clever move for no one except anyone lost in their own self promotion

I know Hoffman is a big fan of the club but sorry I wouldn't want to see him involved or JE. As for Hateley?

Not going to waste more time on it. Not going to happen and I am glad of that

All this "drama" is damaging the reputation of our club, haven't we been damaged enough in the last 15 years for gods sake

Oh dear !! numerous transfer embargoes in one again now, administrations, championship to the depths of division four, Sixfields, St.Andrews, I’ll excuse Burton, pathetic budgets for the manager to work with, no money being put in, plenty of transfer money disappearing probably to the Cayman Islands.
Is it a case of better the devil you know ?

No money to put in? Storey hasn’t got a pot to piss in, he’s a crackpot - so yeah… I’d rather stick with the devil I know. Rather than a fantasist who won’t see us existing past February

I’m not saying for one minute this Storey bloke is the business far from it and now he has spouted spending tens of millions in January is imo pathetic talk. Trouble is under sisu we go nowhere other than eventually back down the divisions unless sisu very quickly change their policy can’t see it though.

I can’t see anyone taking over if anyone does being a lone wolf but I won’t judge anybody on their for me a somewhat strange fashion sense though, but as far as this Storey bloke like most I have many reservations just like Doug King has done saying what he knows fans want to hear such as spending TENS of millions in January, utter tripe imo.

I dont know the ins and out about KING/SSIU and the 85%/15% but if Ashley wants it he'll want 100% with no hangers on.as regards Storey the guy is a skint chancer and certainly shouldn't be allowed anywhere near your club

I wouldn't't be surprised if Hoffman has been taken in by a few Nigerian princes and purchased his fair share of penis enhancers in his time.

Bloke is taken in by anybody.

If anybody can get me an email I might try and get a small Christmas fund out of him myself.

This Storey guy is full of Storeys. I have read up so much and he has turned his hand to
many things.
The one thing that is not a Storey, is they have all failed.
Please, EFL, SISU, Courts, whoever you are, please keep this guy away from our club.

I will go as far as to say thank you to Joy, she has seen him for what he is
and won't allow him control of our club (even though she SISSU are now broke).
She would seem to prefer to keep us going slightly longer to get a real buyer.

(she could have just tried to sell us and said fuck you, i just want money back and i don't
care what happens to you)

Maybe she does have the SkyBlue bug, so does not want to shaft us,
whilst at the same time knowing she has to pay her investors.

This is probably why she swapped Storey for King, good for her and SISSU whilst
looking after 15% SISSU share but making sure the new owner had the funds to
keep the club going and an attempt at promotion (that's is what SISSU first tried when
they came here but blew it (thanks RR)).

If King is true to his worlds, he has the money Joy does not to help us get promoted.
Sure Joy hated hearing those words as they make SISSU look small, but she has not
come out and denied it.

I mean that could be a matter of days which would track.

I wish the media would talk to literally anyone else than Storey. Get Hoffman on the phone if he is genuinely involved. Picking a well known fantasist as a front man is only going to end one way.
