So let’s stop playing silly buggers and give Ashley a price.

Maybe he’s a mechanism whereby someone can buy ownership and Joy can park her 15% waiting for a jackpot.

no doubt this won't be good news and we'll have a few years of Sepalla & Ashley slugging it out with the club caught in the crossfire

Such a shame we couldn’t get the stadium, let’s hope something long term happens though.

That’s that then, Ashley isn’t just going to step aside or sell it. Only way we get reunited with the stadium now is if Ashley purchases the club.

The club still wouldn’t own the stadium though, granted it would be reunited with it.

None , the end game is now ashley , it has to be , we either carry on as we are and the new owner (load of shit) goes along with sisu and a fair purchase price of the club .. or ashley picks us up in admin

Can't see how else this ends

I think the question now is how much damage is going to be done on their way out.

Would anyone bet against another move? We all know that the EFL would allow it, just needs SISU to say there's no other option so its move or no more club.

I’m not sure it gets that far, King pretty much said SISU have no money. It’s end of the line for them

It’s a no brainer as to whether we’d rather continue renting with hedge fund owners or be owned by the same person who owns the stadium.

Either MA's lot buy out CCFC asap or

MA's lot put their foot on CCFCs owners throats (affecting us for the duration) until our owners submit, with our value probably lower due to having been forced to sell off our crown jewels and the team having suffered accordingly.

Standing back:

It cost £1m (plus vat) to buy a stadium that cost £115m for £15m.

Argue the value all you like - £30m whatever, don’t care but we will never build another CBS for £15m. It’s a steal.

It’s the worst £1m Joy never spent.

A technicality , most English club stadiums owned by individuals rather than the club

At least it would be under the same umbrella and you would assume when Ashley came to sell the club he would sell the CBS aswell as part of the deal.

Even if we're a separate company, if we're owned by the same people who own the arena it's a vast improvement on where we are now

I mean if he wants to plough that £25 million into the club and go hell bent on a promotion charge, sure. Because we really did have £25 million ready to go, so it would be easy right?

Find it difficult to believe that King is just a go-between for SISU and MIke Ashley... otherwise surely he wouldn't have been shouting about making a £25m bid for the arena.

I have absolutely No idea why he would buy the football club off sisu ,without the stadium ..

May aswell throw money down the drain , unless he puts money in to get promoted then its a pointless purchase really , somebody owes somebody somewhere money

Not sure. I'd imagine the EFL would put a definitive timeline in place for a return back to the city almost certainly so really it'd be a futile exercise on SISU's part.

SISU have ultimately lost. Probably said when Wasps took over the lease but genuinely I think there's no real return from this.

Is the 8 year lease still valid? If so, that line of argument wouldn't wash.
