I wrote very politely to the (potential) administrator asking, "if it were possible to develop a supporter-led buy out of ACL, what is the path to involving ourselves in the process?". No reply.
I get that he might have thought that I was having a laugh, but at the same time that's an opportunity missed by the person who is supposed to be looking for the best deal for the creditors.
I would have at least expected, "come back with proof of funds and we'll talk".

I mentioned previously about SISU silence and fully expected a too little, too late statement of 'oh but we tried really really hard to bid', which today's statement reads like. Obvs didn't expect the sale last night! Was that so CCFC can say 'we're not SISU anymore, no reason not to sell to us'?

Where has the club said that?That’s still quite different from “we can’t pay the HMRC and are close to admin cos we have unsustainable contracts so one of the big three needs to go asap” which seems to be the status quo.
