I think if Joy had said a lot of the things he said, it would have sent plenty of people into a rage. That said, at least he is communicating. A lot of his answers seemed fairly honest, which basically says, "the budget won't be much better than it is now, I just want to be more efficient with it". I would much rather the honesty than flat out lies but it wasn't exactly inspiring. The biggest thing I took away was, God, he loves Fraser Group. Sounded like a come and get me plea to them.

Give the guy a chance. He is a successful business man whereas most on here are not. He's logical which is necessary in football so your heart doesn't rule your head. He wants the best for us moving forward. He spoke well about Robins and the staff. A very positive first news conference.

My take on this interview is this guy gets on with people, or wants to get on with them. He is not crtical of Ashley, Fraser Group, Joy or anyone else. He wants the best for us, CCFC and the community. Why be disrespectful about a guy who is trying to improve our club?
Don’t see millions to spend. We have some high value players under sisu very little of the fee we got went to Robins for squad strengthening we have to be realistic and the club needs to be run efficiently, but if he got a decent chunk say 70/75% of any incoming fees I can live with that.TBF to King (albeit he brought it on himself to an extent) he's getting silly questions such as the one from Andy Turner. "Is the £25m you reportedly bid for the stadium available to spend?" - what sort of answer are you anticipating here Andy?
Absolute madness - he speaks well on the whole, but that answer alone is enough to call his credibility into question.I actually preferred the honesty that he hadn't really thought about the stadium before, but am not quite sure what to make of that as an answer!

Didn't work for Ray RansonOverall a decent interview and he was honest. The money is going to be spent on getting to the Prem right now. Not going to be building a new stadium and a new training facility etc. That kind of investment comes if you go up and stay up or get parachute payments. Entirely business sense.

Fucking 'Niddy Griddy' has done me in. Can't decide whether it's a better porn name or rap name.Thought he spoke pretty well to be honest. Other than when he said 'niddy griddy', which sent a shiver up my spine.
Other things to take onboard:
- Some of the questions were stupid and there were one or two interviewers that were seemingly just looking to be important by trying to wind him up. Don't confuse that for hard questioning.
- He seems quite passionate about the game and the team, and I think he will probably be pretty hands on.
- Wants to improve communication which is badly needed.
- Said if a player is unhappy we cannot keep them. Repeated that a couple of times which has raised an eyebrow.
- Goes to the ballet.

Their starting point generally seemed to be belligerence - "...batter people in court" etc
He seemed to be trying to build bridges.
If you're going to be across the table negotiating with someone, better to start by being polite about them rather than telling the world how you're going to screw them over.
