There are still charges to Arvo Master Fund Limited though.

Covcityco looks to be solely Doug King at the minute

Is that just Arvo maintaining their charge on the training ground?

Now Chris Anderson was a strange thing. He has serious academic and business credentials and had long been hankering for a position to put his ideas into practice at a football club. Within months he had walked away.

A US based good friend of mine (academic) is a long term contact of his and we were told we would be invited along to see the set up under Anderson. Obviously it never happened. I am still tempted to ask for the inside story on all of that.

@oldfiver there has been an allotment of shares

This entity is now the person of significant control instead of SISU Capital. It's weird because for a long time I don't think the person of significant control was clear for Otium, it was only notified to CH in 2018.

Doug's also started Ritho Ltd which is something to do with music publishing. One step closer to Kyle McFadzean's hip-hop album

Free CRM systems tend to be fraught with issues and the useful features cost a lot extra.

A company with a turnover like the football club, will also want a contract in place with a paid and reputable provider, which will reduce data risk, and potentially cover liabilities in respect to any issues.

That said, the loyalty/customer lifecycle comms are clearly not cutting through. I have received a few direct mails though, which does suggest they are doing something.

I do wonder how much of a priority it is though. Will sending email reminders do a huge amount, unless we have a targeted promotions strategy or a system that can support personalised offers? Does someone renew their season ticket because they got an email about it? I’m not sure.
I don’t think we’re a business that can run personalised or targeted offers, due to other fans finding out and being pissed off.

There’s loads we could do to reward fans for their frequency and loyalty though. Send them an email statement of all the games they went to last season (goals scored, minutes of extra time watched, yellow cards, etc). Rank them vs. the rest of the fan base. For every 90 minutes they watched they earned xx points they can use in the club shop. Encourage them to beat their total the next season

not long after he left here there was an interview with him where he talked about trying, and failing, to take over an EFL club.

IIRC he came in, said he wanted to draw a line under the stadium situation and start talks, then there was a report that talks were going well followed by Wasps pulling out of all talks and refusing to discuss it further with the club. Pretty soon after that Anderson disappeared from the club.

It would depend on 2 things, does the current back office system have the capability to collate the information you require to do an effective information dump and then if it can auto generate emails required. As ticketing has been outsourced can you bring it back inhouse and do the GDPR permissions sit with the club or were they using the ticketing company's to save on costs? IF you don't have a good CRM system they aint cheap the licences for something like Saleforce are 10s of thousands.

I think Ticket Master is a data processor, the data is shared by the individual to the club and TM process it. The club should have rights to it. In fact they've published the below which again looks like something they need to review:

I'm not an expert but it just looks like lots more shares have been issued to dilute the SISU share rather than shares being transferred?

I have no strong feelings about Boddy either way. It was a concern when he arrived, firstly because he was a Sisu appointment and secondly because his reputation, gained from previous clubs, wasn’t great. He has been a big improvement on Fisher (a very low bar I know) but as regards his competency for the job at City, I don’t know.
A genuine question, how do you know that he is so much worse than his counterparts at the other Championship clubs? Do you know each of the CEOs and how they have performed?

Came for the good stuff like this. Instead had to read through 3 pages of arguments about CRM systems and marketing contractors. Only SBT could manage that during a takeover.

I think the direct marketing is more for occasional fans. Letting them know when games are on, when the team is on good form, offers, etc.

STs I’d doubt are impacted by much, but a phone call when early bird is about to run out or similar is probably worth the effort.

Agree about free CRMs, and shit like Zoho but if your starting point is nothing at all even an excel spreadsheet would be better. I don’t think we need fancy lifecycle or pipeline management TBF.

Stating the obvious and I'm sure many have the same hopes now the takeover is done. I just want us to be a really well run club that has a realistic and achievable business plan and a clear vision of our future at the CBS Arena. Hopefully strengthen in all areas of the pitch with a larger and more competitive squad and look to have a right good go for the top in a realistic time period.

That’s what I’d expect BSB is on there or there abouts. Average Marketing Manager salary in the U.K. is £47k. You said it would be ten times a teachers salary. It won’t will it?

She is the daughter of a very well off local businessman who has sponsored the club in the past. Though really why again you need to go off on a tangent about earnings is beyond me. On the one hand I am swanning it up in leafy Leamington and the other I am a peasant compared to a marketing grad
