I support the team. And that’s why I want new coaches and players and a new owner.

The reality is you have no idea what goes on behind closed doors. Why not give them a chance under a new manager?

Of course I will. I gave them a chance under the cavalcade of shite we had prior to robins.

Genuinely feels like civil war vibes on the topic of King, got the whole Loyalists vs the Robinarians thing going on. Things could get quite hairy at the CBS if King doesn’t play his cards right.

Fuck the team, cunts like Dovin and Kitching need to be broken and tormented for how much money they cost yet how utter wank they have performed.

As mentioned though. There is only so long you can punch above your weight both in terms of transfers and league position.

There are so many examples of clubs trying to do it, under SISU we would have regressed very quickly again even with Robins.
That is the thing, the money spent on transfers has come from player sales (generally). If DK really expects to kick it with the big boys, parachute payments, etc. The level of funding has to go up and even if he does, that's when we end up in the shit again.

I wonder if he’ll still be seen as a positive owner when he sells us to Mike Ashley.

Don’t claim to be an ITK, but I do know he’s still waiting in the wings.

The investment in the stadium improvements wasn’t done just to be helpful.

I'm assuming King has already someone lined up to come in at reasonably short notice, otherwise I question the timing of this.
If he hasn't got someone then I think we go from outsiders for relegation to something a bit more serious.

Robins wont be out of work very long. Well respected by a lot of other clubs who will want him if he wants another managers job.
Be interesting if he does whether he appoints Adi again as his assistant. If he does it tells us a lot about Adi going and who instigated it

I think his ultimate objective was a season in the Premier League before handing over the torch to someone else.

I don't think we'll see him again in another job - through choice.

Yet another poor decision, made in haste, without proper understanding or grasp of the situation. Handled in a cold, heartless manner that removes dignity from a true servant to OUR club.

Yes he's a businessman, but doesn't mean he needs to act like some sort of dictator. have a little class and compassion.

Based on his record of footballing decision making...I'm going to guess he doesn't know the next step, will be advised poorly and will not make steps to improve.

I hope I'm wrong, I really do.

Most clubs in Europe operate a head coach model. Only really here that the manager role is still a thing isn't it?

Robins losing his job became inevitable, indecisive, irrational and muddled. Relationships seem strained and results since we beat Leeds at home at the start of April have been very poor. Robins has been good for Cov and we have been good for him, after 7 years, perhaps unsurprisingly, he does seem to have run out of steam. He will be reimbursed generously and after a break he will likely get another job. Time to move forward.

Have to say…Isn’t it more important to back King now that he’s made the decision. It seems like people just want a struggle like we did with SISU.

Singing anti owner chants is so short-sighted and reactive. A few weeks ago people were calling for Robins to go. Now those who clearly didn’t are not going to do the club any good by protesting. The players will be even less confident if we have a toxic crowd /social media.

FWIW. I’ve always backed Robins. But he’s gone. We are a step further towards being a strong club due to his successes. Let’s not ruin this by having a vendetta against the owner. I for one will be enjoying the matches even less than of late and I’m not looking forward to that if fans become anti king.
