After TM's comments in the week should we expect a double signing today.

Would be a huge boost for the team and fans a week before the season

Probably be shit, that's what Mowbray is trying to bring in. I'm sure he said that last week.

Hopefully will get at least one today; still feel we need a big guy up front and an out and out winger. Worried also re keeper position...we need someone to either be the number 1 or at least put pressure on burge

Isn't that whenever somebody gets in our half or rolls it back to him?

I would like one signing today. We normally sign on a Friday. A big target one would be great.

Thanks Tony

Yes and it puts pressure on my heart. I just don't have real confidence in him. I wonder how Reda and ricketts as our experienced defenders feel with him behind them? Very nervey I should imagine

re: Burge, weirdly from reports it sounds like hes been quite shaky, even for him, so it doesnt fill me with confidence. That Reece-Cook sounds like hes done well enough to be considered if Burge doesnt find form.

Yes Reece-cook looks to be developing well and could be a natural first choice in a season or two but not convinced at this point that he is.

Burge has been rubbish in pre season.

At the moment he knows he's number 1. No competition and handed the number 1 shirt.

I will bet you now that a number of games will be lost because of him this season.

Good tip.

Can you make clearer whatever thinly veiled dig at SISU you're trying to make.

If we don't, can we all agree to avoid shouting about Mowbray promising it would happen by tomorrow or anything like that?

Nick is mocking the guy who said that a handful of days after we signed Romain Vincelot. For a fee.

I can't really see us signing anyone today. There hasn't been much talk of it.

I can guarantee the 2 signings for us today are 2 exciting wingers, what we've been crying out for- one is a dutch lad called Ellery Cairo and the second an exciting ex Birmingham man Julian gray, due to their ability journalists have suggested we have the 2 best wingers in the league and this has slashed our odds for promotion. Heard it here first #slowsportsnews

Why it's not like we are premier league? We are in the league where premier league send their youth to give them a chance. Surely we should give our youth a chance?

It wasn't wrong was it? It's even better when said about 2 days after signing somebody though.

ps. they paid money for Urquhart and Cody Mcdonald too didn't they?

What about Richard Keogh and
Jutkiewicz?

Should we also mention Martin Cranie, Carl Baker, Clingan, McIndoe, Richard Wood and Deegan we paid for within 7 years?

So I'd say it was right wasn't it? Or do you want to move the goalposts again and try and get it right?
