Isn't Costco what they use as Tesco on Coronation Street?

Not bad I tend to mix drinks which seems like a good idea at the time but as I get older seems not such a good idea next morning.
I like it but not sure would recommend as a session beer.....think your guts may suffer next day!!

Its alright but as bottled craft/real ales go, my 2 current favourites are Wells' "banana bread beer" (5.2%) & Ringwoods "Boondoggle" (5.0%)....

....I've always gone for blondes...

Not a bad beer. I've bought it in Morrisons before but not in Cov.

I like St Austell Proper Job (also Cornish). I''ve been trying British craft lagers too recently - shame most pubs don't sell these instead of the usual mass produced crap.

Love the stuff really good if you can get in on draught - another really nice Cornish beer is Tribute which is good bottled too

Sharps brewery also produce an interesting Pilsner Lager. I came across this today lunching at the Almanac. Purity brewery do a lager / bitter on sale there as well (victory?) which is a lot better than Crusader for those with a long memory!
