Not read every thread on here, but I've not seen anyone saying we played a poor team, and if anything people are going a bit overboard with one result.
In real life people seem to be happy and looking forward to the next match, as am I.

We did well, that is all.

Just like we had a foundation when thorn first took over? Keep carsley&shaw as coaches but we need a proper manager this time.

Last night was great and gives us bragging rights for the evening however it is cup. We need to take that into the league. Lose at Crewe and I'd be wishing it the other way round. The Leagues your bread and butter. Lets enjoy it when it comes but not get overboard.

So was David Moyes not a "proper" manager when he took over then third division Preston North End, or "Big" sam when he took over third division Bolton or Tony Pulis when he took over at Stoke City. Can you describe what a "proper" manager is. Was Peter Reid a "proper" manager or Micky Adams, Iain Dowie or Ady Boothroyd and for that matter was John Sillett "proper" when he stepped up from the youth team to the first team all those years ago.

You know exactly what i mean so stop trying to be a smart arse. I dont care about pulis, moyes,i care about ccfc. We tried the inexperienced route last time and we got relegated. We can't mess about and see if shaw 'comes good' we need out of this league asap.

Are you sure?

I want an experienced manager that has done more good than bad. Is there one available that we can afford that is willing to come to us? Should we just take an experienced manager that might come good for us?

Should we go for wise? A bit of experience. Should we go for Shaw?A bit of experience, knows a bit about the players. Knows a fair bit about the club. Looks as though he can get the players motivated.

We beat Brum last night. They are a Championship side. They have only won one though and lost two in the league. We were at home. They do have good players though. King is one of them.

Whoever we choose it might work. It might not. I would like an experienced manager who hasn't got fails on his record. Like Curbishley or Redknapp. Would be shocked if it happened. So who do you seriously think will come to us that we can afford that the odds are will do a good job for us with the players we have?
