Hammered 4-0 by Pressley's Plodders.

Could have been us last week, and puts today's draw against Blackpool into perspective

I'm very surprised we took all 3 points last week.

So 4 points from 2 isn't the end of the world, just a shame we couldn't capitalise on results going our way today.

4-0 win, I'd say so.

Would have been worse if results had gone against us but I know what you mean

Perhaps Pressley'll be a good fit with Fleetwood. I imagine he'll turn out like Holloway, striking gold at some clubs, digging out turds at others.

I bet they played with "intensity". He liked that word too.

The attitude to SP is embarrassing. Granted he completely lost it at the end but he was lauded as a miracle worker by this very forum. Dare I say it by those who seem to believe we have already been promoted.

I hope he does well and all the best to him.

Don't really know what's embarrassing about this thread. It starts with praise of a very good win against Burton, and fair play to the bloke who I always found sincere and passionate about the club.

He did like to talk about the group and intensity a lot though!

I mean on this forum in general, this thread gives the impression that Burton must be a shambles to have lost to a SP team.

Over time he will prove to be more than a decent manager.

I agree,well said.

I'd like to see the thread about his contract extension when everyone considered him to be the messiah and compare some people's comments to those they are making now...

I am glad they beat Burton and I hope they beat all the other top teams as well apart from us.

What about those Burton fans that praised JFH to high heavens, will they turn now

2 defeats from 2 now, 6 goals conceeded, no goals scored. Crewe next, if they don't win that, I think the early season form is over

I'm still not sure about gills staying power either. Walsall will be up there all season though I think

Sheff utd and wigan will push up towards autos too. We need to stay with top 2. Playoffs shud onl br a fallback plan b

I can't believe how some people can read into a post something that isn't there. Pressley only took over last week, and inherited a poor team based on previous results alone. I said he could have done us last week, and only suggested a draw against Blackpool should be seen in perspective to Burton's weekend.
